Leaving Colorado Entering Kansas Signs of Mt. Sunflower
A touch of sadness descends on our merry band of mountaineers as we leave the purple mountains majesty of our home state behind. From now on, we're in Kansas, and there's no turning back. At the border, we salute the brave Kansas government officials working at the border crossing. Our papers are in order, and with only minimal delays we begin our quest. What seems like days later, but is in fact only a few hours, we begin to see signs of Mount Sunflower.
