| A touch
of sadness descends on our merry band of mountaineers as we leave the purple mountains
majesty of our home state behind. From now on, we're in Kansas, and there's no turning
back. |
At
the border, we salute the brave Kansas government officials working at the border
crossing. Our papers are in order, and with only minimal delays we begin our quest. |
What
seems like days later, but is in fact only a few hours, we begin to see signs of Mount
Sunflower. |
