Elevation of Summit, Looking North from Colorado

Climbing Sridhar James Bettinger warned the team about the dangers they will encounter.

"As we prepare to venture into the thick air of Nebraska, I want to remind you all of the dangers to your body by spending too much time in ‘the flat zone’. The potential damage to our bodies and minds is irreparable, so I suggest we make our assault as quickly as possible. I've heard rumors that some climbers are contemplating a summit attempt without the use of supplemental beer. This is risky, as spending time in the "flat zone" without beer can greatly enhance the effects of thick air on the body. As we all know the bubbles in the beer keep the heavy air from pooling in the brain. Once we are up and out of the "flat zone" beer may not be necessary, but it is best to keep a fresh supply on hand, just in case."

Note that the route to this monster will require a brief foray across the border into the Equality State of Wyoming. Our Base Camp will be in the city of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. Looking toward Colorado
