Our Twentieth Year Reunion in 1998
The Class of 1978 Twentieth Reunion was held on Friday, October 9th, 1998. About twenty-five 78 alumni gathered at for a tail-gate mixer in the South High parking lot, trooped over to what is now called All-City Statium to watch South battle Lincoln, and then caught up at a mixer at Hemmingway's on Old South Gaylord. Friday, October 9th
5:30pm - Tailgate Mixer: South High School Parking Lot, South West corner.
7:00pm - Homecoming Football Game: South vs. Lincoln, West Stands DPS Stadium
9:00pm - Welcome Back Party: Hemmingway's Grill on Old South Gaylord

UPDATE 09/26/98 - Finally - we have a plan! The Class of 78 will hold our reunion on Friday, October 9th, 1998. We will start at 5:30p.m. with a tailgate party before South's homecoming game, which will be at All-City Stadium. The South High Rebels will play the Lincoln Lancers at 7:00p.m. Following the game, we'll have an mixer with adult beverages at a nearby restaurant.

This informal mixer will kick off our planning for our big 25th Reunion, which will be held in 2003.

UPDATE 9/15/98 - The good news is: We finally got a mailing list of our class from the Alumni office at South. The bad news is: Only about 181 of our 348 graduates are on that list.

UPDATE 8/2/98 - Reunion planning meeting at the Bonnie Brae Tavern on August 2 at 2:00pm.

UPDATE 7/15/98 - As of this month, we're finally starting on a reunion activity. After a quick poll of a few alumni, we've decided to gather at the fall 1998 Homecoming game. (No, we don't know the date yet.) But we're going to need some help to pull this off. Can anyone volunteer?
