Welcome to the eRosary
Dominus Vobiscum - God bless you! The eRosary is a visual meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary.

For centuries, many great artists have imagined and visually recreated scenes inspired by the Mysteries of the Rosary.  This site is a poor attempt to bring together some of those images in a form that helps and inspired devotion.

Praying the Rosary
Who Can Pray the Rosary

The Rosary is not an item - it is a prayer that dates back over 500 years. Anyone who knows six easy prayers can pray a Rosary; you will also need to remember five of the twenty Mysteries to meditate upon as you pray. You do not have to be a Catholic! The eRosary does the hard work for you - just follow along, clicking on AMEN when you complete a page.

The Mysteries of the Rosary - When to Pray a Mystery

The Order of Prayers

The Rosary begins with the Apostles Creed, followed by one Our Father, three Hail Marys (traditionally offered for an increase in faith, hope, and charity for those praying the Rosary), a Glory Be, and, if desired, the Fatima Prayers. Next come five mysteries (each consisting of one Our Fathers, ten Hail Marys, a Glory Be, and, if desired, the Fatima Prayers). Conclude with the Hail Holy Queen (Please say a few extra prayers after the Hail Holy Queen for the Pope).
