Iola is the seat of Allen County, on the eastern edge of Kansas. Cast D first arrived in Iola by bicycle, as part of an April Fool's Day event, riding up highway 169 from Chanute Kansas. Members of the UNIQUE WHEEL PATROL served as guides and lookouts on the 18-mile ride. Two brave cast members rode a tandem bike - anybody remember who that was?
